+ What makes a B&B unique?

A B&B a sort of hybrid between a luxury hotel and a private home, embodying the best of both worlds. A B&B is generally a small establishment with 3 to 10 guest rooms instead of the 50 to 100 or more found at most hotels.

We currently have 4 private rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. We live on-site and interact with travelers as if they were invited guests rather than anonymous temporary room numbers.

Guests are treated to deluxe touches like a sumptuous home-cooked breakfast that comes with the price of the room and is served each morning in a communal dining room or in the guest’s own quarters.

+ What kind of breakfast do you serve?

There are 5 unique breakfast options available. Breakfast is served daily between 7:00– 10:00. View the breakfast menu here.

+ Is there smoking on the premises?

Insurance regulations do not permit smoking inside The Engen Hus B&B.

We do have a designated smoking area outside away from the house.

+ Do you allow Pets?

No unfortunately at this time we are unable to welcome any animals at our B&B.

+ Are the Kitchen Facilities available to guests?

In addition to your private room and bathroom we encourage you to use the common areas.

The kitchen and dining area is available anytime to bring in takeout meals.

Insurance regulations prohibit guests from cooking in our kitchen however the gas grill on the patio is available for use.

+ When Can We Check-In/Out?
