Just like the Gallivan Center in downtown Salt Lake City, The Plaza at South Jordan is another open public space that is transformed into an outdoor ice skating rink. It serves as a local venue for a wide range of events throughout the year, such as concerts, art exhibits, and so on.
The outdoor ice skating rink measures 110 x 60 feet, and opened in 2006. When this ice skating rink opened, it was met with wide public approval, especially from skating enthusiasts who needed a place to practice their skills.
The outdoor skating rink is large enough for serious skaters and has plenty of room for those who are looking to learn how to skate. The best part is that this skating rink is free for public access.
